ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A gallery leading to the surface is provided at an upper portion of a uranium ore deposit. An excavating pipe is driven in from this gallery, and thereupon, a high pressure water stream is squirted to generate ore slurry. The ore slurry thus generated is drawn up to the surface through an ejector mechanism. The hollow space formed in the uranium ore deposit after suction of the slurry is filled up with a filler.
