The invention relates to a method of filtration of a gaseous flow in which said flow is passed through at least one chamber the inlet and outlet openings of which are displaced to cause a turbulent flow projecting the particles of greater size against the walls of the chamber. At least one part of the gaseous flow is evacuated out of said chamber through a porous downstream wall which catches the finest particles. The filter has two walls (1,5) of different length connected the one to the other along every second fold (2,6). The downstream wall (5) is formed of a porous unwoven bed of fibres. The two walls (1,5) are provided with displaced openings.(4,8)

L'invention a trait à une méthode de filtration d'un écoulement gazeux selon laquelle l'écoulement passe à travers une chambre dont les orifices d'entrée et de sortie sont en position décalée afin de créer un écoulement turbulent projetant les particules de dimensions plus grosses contre les parois de la chambre. Au moins une partie de l'écoulement gazeux est évacué de la chambre par une paroi aval poreuse qui saisit les particules les plus fines. Le filtre comprend deux parois (1, 5) de longueur différente raccordées entre elles à chaque deuxième pli (2, 6). La paroi aval (5) est formée d'une natte de fibres poreuses non tissée. Les deux parois comprennent des orifices (4, 8) décalés.
