The invention is a flotation circuit for separating concentrates from slurry comprising grinded ore or oil sand. The slurry is divided into at least two fractions (15, 16) in a flotation cell system that receives a feed (11) of mineral slurry from a grinding circuit and is provided with at least two outlets for discharging tailings with different particle size distributions. The flotation circuit also comprises parallel cell lines (12, 13), i.e. banks of cells, that are arranged to receive the tailings from the outlet openings of the receiving cell and adapted to process slurries with different particle size distribution.

L'invention concerne un circuit de flottage destiné à séparer des concentrés à partir d'une bouillie comportant un minerai broyé ou du sable pétrolifère. La bouillie est divisée en au moins deux fractions (15, 16) dans un système de cellules de flottage recevant une alimentation (11) de bouillie minérale depuis un circuit de broyage et pourvu d'au moins deux sorties afin de refouler des rejets présentant des profils granulométriques différents. Le circuit de flottage comporte également des lignes parallèles (12, 13) de cellules, c'est-à-dire des bancs de cellules, disposées de manière à recevoir les rejets des orifices de sortie de la cellule réceptrice et adaptées pour traiter des bouillies présentant des profils granulométriques différents.
