A method of forming a structural wall (10) using lightweight or heavyweight block or brick (12). A removable lightweight wall panel (16) is used as a guide for forming the wall (10). The method includes installing the removable panel (16) on a foundation (14). The wall panel (16) is plumbed vertically and leveled horizontally. A bonding agent (33) is placed on the bottom and at one end of each block (12) and the blocks are placed in courses to form the wall (10).
