A method of molding a fuel tank wherein a pre- molded two pieces of baffle plates are mounted on a blow-pin which is then inserted in a molten parison of a thermoplastic resin, the split metal molds are closed under this condition, a pressurized fluid is fed thereto, and said baffle plates are melt-adhered onto the tank while it is being molded. This method makes it possible to provide two baffle plates in the fuel tank that is being molded and, hence, to produce a fuel tank without extremely thin portions.
