A method of forming irregularities on the entire or desired portions of garments without design restriction, and a method of manufacturing garments provided with irregularities stretchable in longitudinal and lateral directions as is in the case of knit products. Cloth containing thermoplastic fibers is cut into parts of a garment (1), these parts are formed into a garment shape by machine-sewing, the garment and heat-shrinkable cloth (2) are overlapped each other and sewn up by stitching with water-soluble threads (3), the sewn-up clothes are heat-treated in a dry condition and with no pressure applied to the clothes to shrink the heat-shrinkable cloth and to thereby form irregularities (1a, 1b) on the cloth of the garment, and later the water- soluble threads are removed by melting to separate the garment cloth from the heat-shrinkable cloth.
Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant de réaliser des motifs en relief sur la totalité ou sur certaines parties de vêtement, quels qu'ils soient, ainsi qu'une méthode de fabrication de vêtements présentant des motifs étirables longitudinalement et transversalement, à la manière des articles tricotés. Dans un tissu renfermant des fibres thermoplastiques, on découpe les éléments d'un vêtement (1). Ces pièces sont ensuite assemblées en un vêtement et cousues à la machine. Le vêtement et le tissu thermo-rétrécissable (2) sont superposés et cousus l'un à l'autre par points au moyen de fils hydrosolubles (3). L'ensemble est chauffé à sec sans application de pression. En rétrécissant, le tissu thermo-rétrécissable forme des motifs (1a, 1b) sur le tissu du vêtement. Ensuite, on fait fondre les fils hydrosolubles pour séparer le tissu du vêtement du tissu thermo-rétrécissable.
