A driving tool, such as a screwdriver, has a handle (11) with an injection- molded, relatively hard and rigid inner body (20), molded around a shank (12), the inner body (20) having an elongated central portion with two end flanges around the periphery thereof. The central portion further having a groove (30) formed adjacent an end flange, a rear section (22), and a curved end face (27). An outer gripping body (35) of a relatively soft and resilient material, having end portions (36, 37), is injection molded around the inner body (20) and fills the groove (30) and raised indicia (32) formed on the inner body (20) near the rear section (22).
