The invention provides a method of preparation of HBV genomic amplicons which makes it possible, using the same amplicon obtained from a patient, to evaluate HBV strains resistant to antiviral agents by analysing, their genotype, their phenotype and their replicative capacity. The method of the invention guarantees to obtain the closest in vitro replication capability compared to the in vivo replication and ensures that the influences of all the mutations present on a viral genome are taken into account when evaluating the drug sensitivity and the replicative capacity.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'amplicons génomiques du VHB permettant d'évaluer par analyse, au moyen du même amplicon obtenu du patient, les souches du VHB résistantes à des agents antiviraux, leur génotypage, leur phénotypage et leur capacité de réplication. Le procédé selon l'invention garantit l'obtention de la meilleure capacité de réplication in vitro comparée à celle in vivo, ainsi que la prise en compte des influences de toutes les mutations présentes sur le génome viral lors de l'évaluation de la sensibilité des médicaments et de la capacité de réplication.
