A method of highly accurately and conveniently identifying a phosphoprotein which comprises subjecting a sample protein to two-dimensional electrophoresis; dephosphorylating the sample protein with phosphatase; performing two-dimensional electrophoresis again; and then detecting and identifying a spot having migrated toward the alkaline side on the electrophoretic pattern after the dephosphorylation as a phosphoprotein.
L'invention concerne un procédé, très précis et pratique, d'identification d'une phosphoprotéine consistant à soumettre une protéine d'un échantillon à une électrophorèse bidimensionnelle, à déphosphoryler la protéine de l'échantillon avec une phosphatase, à réaliser de nouveau une électrophorèse bidimensionnelle, puis à détecter et à identifier un spot qui a migré vers le côté alcalin de la structure électrophorétique, après déphosphorylation, en tant que phosphoprotéine.
