La présente invention porte également sur des procédés pour produire un effet diurétique chez un animal, ces procédés consistant à administrer une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace de KW-3902 ou bien un sel, un ester, un amide, un métabolite ou un précurseur de ceux-ci, en combinaison avec une seconde composition pharmaceutique apte à produire un effet diurétique.
