It is intended to provide a method of inducing the differentiation of stem cells into myocardial cells characterized in that the induction of the differentiation of stem cells into myocardial cells is carried out by culturing the stem cells in the presence of a substance inhibiting the BMP signal transfer to thereby efficiently and selectively induce the differentiation into myocardial cells.
