ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A method for the industrial preparation of tris (hydroxymethyl)-aminomethan-gluconato-dihydroxo-aluminate, con- sisting in first reacting D-gluconic acid with aluminium isopro- pylate and then reacting the aluminium gluconate produced with tris (hydroxymethyl)-aminomethane. The product obtained can be used as an antiacid, due to its high neutralizing capacity per unit weight.
