Abstract of the Disclosure A preheatable scrim and method of use for bonding together multiple layers of materials to form a laminate. The scrim includes a carrier layer which is impregnated with an adhesive having a melting point such that it can set and hold a bond. The scrim is preheated to its activation temperature and sandwiched between the materials layers. The sandwich is pressed together to bond the layers.
