Disclosed is a method for machining a blank or semi-finished product (1) of a future optical element, particularly an eyeglass lens, according to which the blank or semi-finished product (1) is retained by a receiving device (3) on a surface (5) so as to allow the free face of the blank or semi-finished product (1) to be machined. The receiving device (3) is inserted into a holding device. A bonding connection is introduced between the blank or semi-finished product (1) and the receiving device (3), the receiving device (3) being adapted to the radius of the surface (5) of the blank or semi-finished product (1), which is connected to the receiving device (3).
L'invention concerne un procédé d'usinage d'un produit préfabriqué ou semi-fini (1) d'un élément optique en cours de production, en particulier d'un verre de lunetterie. Selon ce procédé, ledit produit préfabriqué ou semi-fini (1) est maintenu sur une surface (5) par un réceptacle (3) pour permettre l'usinage de la face libre dudit produit préfabriqué ou semi-fini (1). Le réceptacle (3) est placé dans un dispositif de maintien. Un élément d'assemblage par collage est inséré entre le produit préfabriqué ou semi-fini (1) et le réceptacle (3), et ce réceptacle (3) est ajusté au rayon de la surface (5) du produit préfabriqué ou semi-fini (1) qui est reliée au réceptacle (3).
