A method for inserting at least one conductor (36) into an elongated length of metal coiled tubing (34) includes the steps of placing the coiled tubing (34) in a substantially vertical pas-sageway, inserting the conduc-tor (36) into the tubing (34), the leading end (116) of the con-ductor (36) including an elon-gated weight (118) connected to the conductor (36), which weight (118) is heavy enough to straighten the conductor (36) enough to fall through the tub-ing (34), the weight (118) hav-ing essentially no stiffness so that it is flexible enough to move through bends or irregularities in the tubing (34), which has a sufficient helical pitch provid-ing a hold-up force due to fric-tion for preventing the conduc-tor (36) from breaking, until the desired length of conductor (36) is inserted into the tubing (34), and removing the tubing (34) with the conductor (36) inside the tubing (34) from the pas-sageway and winding the tubing (34) on a reel (60).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'insérer au moins un conducteur (36) dans la longueur d'un tube métallique en spirale (34), ce procédé consistant tout d'abord à placer ce tube en spirale (34) dans un passage sensiblement vertical, puis à insérer un conducteur (36) dans ce tube (34), l'extrémité avant (116) de ce conducteur (36) comprenant un poids allongé (118) raccordé audit conducteur (36).
