The present invention is a method of making a near-premium quality paper product having good strength and absorbency characteristics and a product made by that method. The invention is also a method for retaining a high ash content within a paper web formed by conventional wet pressing. The present invention is also a method for retaining a high percentage of softening agent within a paper web that includes such an agent. Further, the present invention is a soft absorbent paper product having a high void volume. Finally, the invention is also a method for producing a soft, absorbent, and near premium paper product having a high void volume using an undulatory crepe blade having a multiplicity of serrulations in its rake surface which presents differentiated creping angles and/or rake angles as to the paper- being creped.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un produit de papier de qualité quasi-supérieure présentant de bonnes caractéristiques de résistance et d'absorption. L'invention concerne également un produit fabriqué à l'aide dudit procédé. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de retenir une teneur en cendres élevée dans une bande de papier formée par un pressage humide classique. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de retenir un pourcentage élevé d'adoucissant dans une bande de papier qui comprend ledit adoucissant. L'invention concerne en outre un produit de papier doux et absorbant possédant un volume vide élevé. L'invention concerne enfin un procédé permettant de produire un produit de papier absorbant, doux, de qualité quasi-supérieure et à volume vide élevé, au moyen d'une lame de crêpage ondulatoire dont la surface de râteau possède une pluralité de denticules et présente différents angles de crêpage et/ou angles de râteau par rapport au papier en cours de crêpage.
