A method of making a printing blanket or printing sleeve which includes one or more cast polyurethane layers is provided. Each cast polyurethane layer may be applied in a single pass to a moving substrate web or a rotating sleeve by slot die coating, electrostatic or non-electrostatic spraying, or knife coating. The method may utilize UV or radiation curable polyurethanes, two-part polyurethanes, moisture curable polyurethanes, or cure-blocked or delayed-cure polyurethanes.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un blanchet d'impression ou d'un manchon d'impression, qui comprend une ou plusieurs couches de polyuréthane coulées. Chaque couche de polyuréthane coulée peut être appliquée en une seule passe sur une bande de substrat en mouvement ou un manchon tournant par revêtement par filière à fente, pulvérisation électrostatique ou non électrostatique, ou revêtement au couteau. Le procédé peut utiliser des polyuréthanes durcissables par UV ou par radiation, des polyuréthanes à deux composants, des polyuréthanes durcissables par l'humidité ou des polyuréthanes bloqués par durcissement ou à durcissement retardé.
