ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for making doll clothing comprises superimposing two pieces of weldable synthetic fabric, making a line of discontinuous welds to join the pieces along garment ledges to be joined. The garment is cut from the pieces around the whole garment outline. The welds are discontinuous to obtain advantageous flexibility and managability at the joining lines. Decorations depicting clothing accessories such as collars and buttons may be printed on the material strips before superimposition thus avoiding finishing steps in garment manufacture.
