Abstract of the Disclosure A method for making electrical circuit traces is disclosed. The method comprises applying a photosensitive layer onto a metal surface by immersing the surface in an autodeposition emulsion and then processing the resulting coated surface to plate up circuit traces. The autodeposition emulsion comprises (i) resin, (ii) photoactive functionality, (iii) acid, (iv) oxidizing agent and (v) surfactant.
