ABSTRACT The disclosed method relates to manufacturing of rotary cutters of the brush milling-cutter type and is most effective for making brush-type milling-cutters with the factor of filling of their working surface with the faces of the free ends of the resilient members from 0.05 to 0.7. The method of making rotary cutters includes the steps of corrugating a wire to produce a blank with the height of each corrugation either equal to or in excess of the calcula- tion length of the resilient member-to-be, the spacing between the adjacent corrugations being short of the diameter of the wire, and assembling thus produced blanks into a stack, for the corrugations to extend perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the cutter to be made.
