The present invention provides a method of making a rubber track having fibrous reinforcement, said track having predefined holes for studs wherein the holes are formed during the vulcanisation of the track. Preferably, the method comprises preparing a layered mould whereby the adjacent surfaces of the mould contain opposed male and female formations and then vulcanising the track by pressing the mould together such that the male formations in the mould pass through the track to produce holes in the track.
