A process for preparing solid dispersions of highly crystalline compounds. The highly crystalline or thermally labile therapeutic compounds are processed in an extruder in combination with a solubilizing agent and optionally a plasticizer. The resulting extrudate features the therapeutic compound in an amorphous state. Particularly useful as the solubilizing agents are surfactants such as poloxamers.

La présente invention porte sur un procédé d'élaboration de dispersions solides de composés de cristallinité élevée. Les composés thérapeutiques de cristallinité élevée ou labiles sous l'action de la chaleur passent dans une extrudeuse en combinaison avec un agent de solubilisation et éventuellement un plastifiant. Le produit d'extrusion résultant comporte le composé thérapeutique à l'état amorphe. Les agents de solubilisation particulièrement utiles selon l'invention incluent des tensioactifs tels que les poloxamères.
