The invention relates to a method of managing renewals of subscriptions for the parking of vehicles in a geographical zone in which parking is regulated with pay-and-display machines that are installed therein. According to the invention, a person first obtains a subscription from a parking management operator for authorisation to park one or more vehicles for a first determined period. The subscriber and the vehicle(s) are identified by identification means which are recorded in a database of a central subscription management server (8) and parking is controlled by a control officer. The inventive method is characterised in that, in order to renew a subscription for a new period, the subscriber presents himself/herself at one (1) of the pay-and-display machines which communicates with the server (8), identifies himself/herself using the aforementioned subscriber identification means (2) and renews the subscription with the aid of the pay-and-display machine (1).
L'invention concerne un procédé de gestion des renouvellements d'abonnements pour le stationnement des véhicules dans une zone géographique où le stationnement est réglementé à l'aide d'horodateurs installés dans ladite zone géographique, selon lequel une personne souscrit préalablement un abonnement auprès d'un opérateur assurant la gestion du stationnement pour autoriser le stationnement d'un ou plusieurs véhicules pour une première période déterminée, l'abonné et le ou les véhicules étant alors identifiés par des moyens d'identification enregistrés dans une base de données d'un serveur central de gestion des abonnements (8), et le contrôle du stationnement étant effectué par un agent de contrôle. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que, afin de renouveler son abonnement pour une nouvelle période, l'abonné se présente à l'un (1) desdits horodateurs qui communique avec ledit serveur (8), s'identifie à l'aide desdits moyens d'identification de l'abonné (2) et renouvelle son abonnement à l'aide dudit horodateur (1).
