ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of manufacturing a composite material comprising an intimate and homogeneous mixture of at least two components, the method being characterized in that said mixture is caused to vibrate in a receptacle at a frequency close to the mean of the resonant frequencies of each of the components or of the receptacle so as to degas the components, after which the components are bonded together so that the resulting composite material has a structure that is substantially free from included air, is compact, and is dense.
