The invention concerns the manufacture of a hydrogenation catalyst by the reduction of platinum from an oxidation state of not less than two with a reducing agent in an aqueous medium in the presence of a carbon-containing support following partial poisoning, the method using a compound of general formula (I) in which X, Y and Z, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen, C1-C18 alkyl, C5-C10 cycloalkyl, halogen, hydroxyl, C1-C6 alkoxy or- NR'R'', whereby R, R' and R'', which may by the same or different, are hydrogen, C1-C18 alkyl or C5-C10 cycloalkyl. The invention also concerns a hydrogenation catalyst manufactured by this method, its use in the production of hydroxylammonium salts, a method of producing hydroxylammonium salts and a method of regenerating platinum-based hydrogenation catalysts of this kind.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un catalyseur d'hydrogénation, par réduction du platine à partir d'un degré d'oxydation non inférieur à deux, au moyen d'un réducteur en milieu aqueux, en présence d'un support carboné, après empoisonnement partiel, caractérisé en ce qu'on utilise un composé de formule générale (I), dans laquelle X, Y et Z, qui peuvent être identiques ou différents, désignent hydrogène, alkyle en C¿1?-C¿18?, cycloalkyle en C¿5?-C¿10?, halogène, hydroxyle, alcoxy en C¿1?-C¿6? et -NR'R'', où R, R' et R'', qui peuvent être identiques ou différents, désignent hydrogène, alkyle en C¿1?-C¿18?, cycloalkyle en C¿5?-C¿10?. L'invention concerne également un catalyseur d'hydrogénation, fabriqué conformément au procédé de l'invention, son utilisation pour la fabrication de sels d'hydroxylammonium, un procédé de fabrication de sels d'hydroxylammonium, ainsi qu'un procédé de régénération de catalyseurs d'hydrogénation à base de platine.
