A method for producing an oxide superconducting wire material which has steps (S1 to S2) of making a wire material having a form in which a raw material powder of an oxide superconducting material is covered with a metal (3) and heat treatment steps (S4, S6) of subjecting the resulting wire material to a heat treatment in a high pressure atmosphere exhibiting a total pressure of 1 MPa or more and less than 50 MPa in the heat treatment, wherein in the temperature rise prior to the heat treatment in the heat treatment steps (S4, S6), a pressuring operation is started at the temperature from which the 0.2 % offset yield strength of the metal (3) becomes less than the total pressure in the heat treatment. The above method allows the formation of interstices between crystals of the oxide superconducting material and the inflation of the oxide superconducting wire material to be inhibited and also allows the easy control of the partial pressure of oxygen during the heat treatment, which results in the improvement of the critical current density of the resultant wire material.
Procédé de production d'un fil d'oxyde supraconducteur qui comporte des étapes (S1 à S2) de production d'un fil ayant une forme obtenue par le fait qu'une matière première en poudre d'oxyde supraconducteur est couverte d'un métal (3), et des étapes (S4, S6) de traitement thermique consistant à soumettre le fil résultant à un traitement thermique dans une atmosphère à haute pression présentant une pression totale de 1 MPa ou plus et moins de 50 MPa dans le traitement thermique. Lors de la montée de température avant le traitement thermique des étapes de traitement thermique (S4, S6), une opération de mise sous pression est démarrée à la température à partir de laquelle la limite d'élasticité conventionnelle à 0,2 % du métal (3) devient inférieure à la pression totale dans le traitement thermique. Le procédé susmentionné permet la formation d'interstices entre des cristaux de matière d'oxyde supraconducteur, l'inhibition de la dilatation du fil d'oxyde supraconducteur et également la régulation facile de la pression partielle de l'oxygène pendant le traitement thermique, ce qui entraîne une amélioration de la densité de courant critique du fil résultant.
