PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention a pour objet un procédé de fabrica- tion d'un diaphragme perméable pour cellules d'électrolyse. La procédé consiste à former une feuille comprenant des fibres inorganiques et un polyélectrolyte sous forme solide divi- sée, insoluble dans les solutions aqueuses d'halogénures de métaux alcalins, puis à chauffer ladite feuille pour fondre le polyélectrolyte. Les diaphragmes ainsi obtenus conviennent notamment pour les cellules d'électrolyse de saumures de chloride de sodium.
