A macromonomer of Formula I: (see fig. I) wherein R1 is hydrogen or methyl, X is a biradical, R2 is an alkyl group of 1-40 carbon atoms and n is such that the molecular weight of the macromonomer ranges from 500-100,000 Dalton is prepared by transesterifying a monomeric ester of Formula II (see fig II) where R3 represents an alkyl group with 1-8 C atoms, with a hydroxyl-group-terminated polyalkyl methacrylate of Formula III (see fig. III) where X and R2 have the same meanings as above, and n' = n; with the elimination of alcohol HOR3, thereby resulting in formation of the compound of Formula I.
Un macromonomère de formule I (voir fig. I) - où R1 est un hydrogène ou un méthyle, X un biradical, R2 un alkyle de 1 à 40 atomes de carbone, et n un nombre faisant en sorte que la masse molaire du macromonomère se situe dans une plage de 500-100000 u.m.a. - est préparé par transestérification d'un ester monomère de formule II (voir fig. II) - où R3 représente un groupe alkyle de 1 à 8 atomes de C - avec un poly(méthacrylate de méthyle) terminé par le groupe hydroxyle, de formule III (voir fig. III) - où X et R2 ont la même signification que ci-dessus, et n' = n -, avec élimination de l'alcool HOR3, ce qui donne le composé de formule I.
