ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a method of manufac- turing two discrete sheets of single wall corrugated paperboard in overlying relation, which includes the steps of providing a first single face web for forming one of said sheets of single wall paperboard, providing a first double face liner for said first single face web and depositing a starch adhesive on the exposed flute tips of said first single face web, and which method comprises (a) providing a second single race web for forming the other of said seets of single wall paperboard; (b) depositing a starch adhesive on the exposed flute tips of said second single face web; (c) substantially gelatinizing the starch adhesive on the exposed flute tips of each of said first and second single face webs; (d) providing a second double race liner for said second single face web; (e) combining in a double facer said first single face web with said first double face liner and simultaneous- ly combining in overlying relationship said second single face web with said second double face liner; and, (f) passing said combined webs and liners through said double facer whereby there is formed two discrete continuous sheets of single wall board each consisting of a single face web and a double face liner.
