A method of manufacturing socks, comprising the steps of, when knitting the toe rear part and instep of a foot, knitting while sequentially reducing the number of stitches by a specified quantity on the little toe side of toes, reducing the number of stitches on a big toe side at a rate larger than the reduction rate of the number of stitches on the small toe side and increasing the number of stitches at a same rate to eccentrically displace a side edge part on the small toe side to the tip part at a specified rate, and generally straighten the side edge part toward the tip part on the big toe side, whereby the tip shape of the toe part is formed so that the big toe side is projected to gradually extend the tip shape forward of the toes from the small toe side toward the big toe side, and the shape can be formed so as to be positioned along a curve provided by connecting the tip parts of the toes to each other.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de chaussettes, comprenant les étapes consistant à : lors du tricotage de la partie située à l'arrière des orteils et du cou-de-pied, tricoter et séquentiellement réduire le nombre de mailles selon une quantité spécifiée du côté petit orteil, réduire le nombre de mailles du côté grand orteil, le taux de réduction côté grand orteil étant plus important que le taux de réduction petit orteil, et augmenter le nombre de mailles selon le même taux pour déplacer vers l'extérieur une partie de bord latéral située côté petit orteil vers la partie terminale à un taux spécifié, et dresser de manière générale la partie de bord latéral vers la partie terminale côté gros orteil. La partie terminale de la partie orteil est formée de façon que le côté gros orteil fasse saillie pour étendre progressivement la forme terminale à l'avant des orteils depuis le côté petit orteil vers le côté gros orteil, et que ladite forme puisse s'étendre le long d'une courbe que l'on obtient en reliant les parties terminales des orteils les unes aux autres.
