The prior method of making a thermally broken window or door frame from two frame members required the use of a cradle to hold the frame members in position while the resin solidified. The present invention provides a method of making a thermally broken window or door frame made from two frame members without a cradle by using a snap-fit insulating spacer which asks both as a gasket and secures the two frame members in position.
