- 14 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A manufacturing method for vinyl chloride-type poly- mers through the suspension polymerization of a suspen- sively dispersed aqueous solution which contains vinyl chloride along with monomer-soluble polymerization ini- tiators, wherein the method is characterized by the addi- tion of a phosphite type antioxidant having at least one benzene ring to the polymerization system at a time when the polymerization ratio is 15%-70%. By this method, vinyl chloride-type polymers which effectively avoid yel- low colorization against .gamma. ray irradiation can be manufac- tured.
