- 1 - Abstract A method for manufacturing rectangular wound cores includes forming at least one developed lamination body by cutting at least one ring-like lamination body. Adhesive is applied to one of the cut ends of each developed lamination body. Lamination blocks are formed, each of which is comprised of a plurality of lamination units shifted in the lengthwise direction by a predetermined distance. The ends of each lamination unit are joined in an overlapped condition by winding each lamination block around a shaping bobbin.
