A method of measuring a dry gas flow from hydrocarbon wells. The hydrocarbon wells produce a stream which contains liquids and natural gas. The method comprises providing a differential pressure measurement device located at a well site.containing the hydrocarbons wells. The method further includes measuring the composition and physical characteristics of the stream. Additionally, the method comprises measuring a static temperature (T) of the stream, measuring a static pressure (Ps), and measuring a pressure differential (dP) in the differential pressure measurement device. The method includes computing the liquid-gas ratio (LGR) of the stream, computing the wet gas flow rate (Qw) of the stream, computing a first dry gas flow rate (QdI) and a second dry gas flow rate (Qd2) and utilizing an iterative process to obtain a corrected dry gas flow rate. The data may be transmitted to a central location.

L'invention concerne un procédé de mesure d'un écoulement de gaz sec à partir de puits d'hydrocarbures. Les puits d'hydrocarbures produisent un courant qui contient des liquides et du gaz naturel. Le procédé comprend l'opération consistant à fournir un dispositif de mesure d'écoulement différentiel (orifice) situé au niveau d'un site de puits contenant les puits d'hydrocarbures. Le procédé comprend en outre l'opération consistant à tester le courant pour une composition de gaz et des caractéristiques physiques.
