Flowable materials, such as cement and sand, are mixed by placing the materials to be mixed in an elongate flexible resealable bag 10 having handles 12 at its opposite ends and alternately raising and lowering the handles 12 relative to one another to cause the materials to tumble alternately in opposite directions within the bag.
