ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE In a method of injection molding an article by injection transfer an open weave fabric is placed across a transfer channel between an injector and a mold cavity. Moldable material is injected via the transfer channel into the cavity through the weave of the fabric. The material in the cavity and the transfer is then cured to form the article and a core of material in the transfer channel adhering to the fabric. The mold is dismantled and the article removed. The core of waste material is then stripped from the transfer channel by peeling away the fabric to clean the channel.
