The invention relates to biotechnology and, in particular, to chemical conjugation methods for antigenic molecules. More specifically, the invention relates to a method for the conjugation of saccharidic antigens. The invention consists in generating amino groups in a saccharidic structure, thereby obtaining a saccharide with two different functional groups, and using same in order to bind proteins to the saccharide. The invention also relates to conjugates which are effective against bacterial diseases and which are obtained using the inventive method.

La présente invention se rapporte à la biotechnologie, en particulier aux procédés de conjugation chimique de molécules antigéniques. Plus particulièrement, l'invention se rapporte à un procédé de conjugation d'antigènes sacchariques. Ledit procédé consiste à générer des groupes amines dans une structure saccharique de manière à obtenir un saccharide comprenant deux groupes fonctionnels différents et à utiliser lesdits groupes amines afin de fixer des protéines au saccharide. L'invention concerne les conjugués qui se sont révélés efficaces contre des maladies bactériennes et qui ont été obtenus par ledit procédé.
