The invention relates to a method of preparing urethane-protected N-carboxyanhydrides of alpha amino acids. The inventive method enables the synthesis of urethane-protected N-carboxyanhydrides of alpha amino acids in the presence of a catalytic quantity of triethylene diamine without the addition of a tertiary amine-type base.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de N- carboxyanhydrides d~alpha-aminoacides à protection uréthane. Ce procédé permet la synthèse de N-carboxyanhydrides d~alpha-aminoacides à protection uréthane à partir de N-carboxyanhydrides d~alpha-aminoacides en présence d~une quantité catalytique de triéthylène-diamine, sans ajout de base de type amine tertiaire.
