The invention relates to a method of optimising the transport of heavy crudes, whereby at least one solvent comprising a petroleum fraction is added to the crude. The inventive method consists in increasing the polar constituent .delta.¿p? of the Hildebrand parameter of the solvent and controlling the contribution of the hydrogen bonds .delta.¿h ?of the Hildebrand parameter of the solvent, with the addition of a determined quantity of at least one specific additive.

Méthode d'optimisation du transport de bruts lourds, dans laquelle on effectue l'adjonction audit brut d'au moins un solvant constitué par une coupe pétrolière. Selon la méthode, on augmente la composante polaire .delta.p du paramètre de Hildebrand du solvant, et on contrôle la contribution des liaisons hydrogène .delta.h du paramètre de Hildebrand du solvant, par l'ajout d'une quantité déterminée d'au moins un additif spécifique.
