A method of packaging self adhesive note paper includes the following described steps. Firstly, place a perforation line on a plurality of single sheets of self adhesive note paper forming a pad. The perforations are positioned across an adhesive bearing portion parallel and immediately adjacent to a peripheral edge. Secondly, insert the pad of self adhesive note paper into a matchbook-like cover having a lower flap and an upper flap engagable with the lower flap. Thirdly, place a staple through the matchbook-like cover including the lower flap and the pad intermediate the peripheral edge and they perforation line. The single sheets can be removed one at a time from the pad by tearing the single sheets along the perforation line.
