The invention relates to a method of preparing cyclene having formula (I) from triethylenetetraamine having formula (VIII) or ethylenediamine having formula (VIII'). The inventive method is characterised in that it comprises one of the following series of successive steps. The first series of steps (I) comprises a step A involving the one-pot preparation of the compound having formula (IIa) from the compound having formula (VIII) as defined above, followed by a step B involving the transformation of the compound having formula (IIa) into cyclene having formula (I). The second series of steps (II) comprises a step C involving the preparation of the compound having formula (IIb) from the compound having formula (VIII) as defined above, followed by a step D involving the transformation of the compound having formula (IIb) into cylcene having formula (I). Finally, the third series of steps (III) comprises a step E involving the one-pot preparation of the compound having formula (IIa), as defined above, from the compound having formula (VIII) as defined above, followed by a step B involving the transformation of the compound having formula (IIa) into cyclene having formula (I).
Procede de preparation du cyclene de formule (I) à partir de triéthylènetétraamine de formule (VIII) ou d'éthylenediamine de formule (VIII'), caracterisé en ce qu'il est constitué de l~une ou l'autre des séries d'étapes successives suivantes La série d'etapes (I) constituéee d'une étape A de preparation en un seul pot du compose de formule (IIa) à partir du composé de formule (VIII) telle que définie précé~demment, suivie dune étape (B) de transformation du composé de formule (IIa), en cy~clène de formule (I) ; La série d'étapes II constituée d~une étape (C) de préparation du composé de formule (IIb) à partir du composé de formule (VIII) telle que définie précédemment, suivie d'une étape (D) de transformation du composé de formule (IIb), en cyclène de formule (I) ; ou la série d'étapes (III) constituée dune étape (E) de préparation en un seul pot du composé de formule (IIa) telle que définie précédemment, à partir du composé de for~mule (VIII) telle que defmie précédemment, suivie d'une étape (B) de transformation du composeé de formule (IIa), en cyclène de formule (I).
