The invention concerns a method of preparing compact and preferably cellular polyurethane elastomers by reacting a) high molecular polyhydroxyl compounds and optionally b) low molecular chain-extending and/or crosslinking agents with c) 1,5-naphthylene diisocyanate and at least one additional aromatic diisocyanate, selected from the group comprising toluylene diisocyanate, diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 3,3'-dimethyl diphenyl diisocyante, 1,2- diphenylethane diisocyanate and phenylene diisocyanate, and/or aliphatic diisocyanate with between 4 and 12 carbon atoms and/or cycloaliphatic diisocyanate with between 6 and 18 carbon atoms, the structural components (a), (c) and optionally (b) advantageously being reacted by the prepolymer method, in the presence or absence of d) catalysts, e) expanding agents and f) additives. The invention further concerns isocyanate prepolymers suitable for this method.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire des élastomères de polyuréthanne compacts et de préférence cellulaires en faisant réagir a) des composés polyhydroxyle à poids moléculaire élevé et éventuellement b) des agents d'allongement de chaîne et/ou de réticulation à faible poids moléculaire avec c) 1,5-naphtylène-diisocyanate et au moins un diisocyanate aromatique supplémentaire, choisi dans le groupe toluylène-diisocyanate, diphénylméthane-diisocyanate, 3,3'-diméthyl-diphényl-diisocyanate, 1,2-diphényléthane-diisocyanate et phénylène-diisocyanate, et/ou diisocyanate aliphatique renfermant 4 à 12 atomes de carbone et/ou diisocyanate cycloaliphatique renfermant 6 à 18 atomes de carbone, les composants structuraux (a), (c) et éventuellement (b) étant avantageusement amenés à réagir selon le procédé prépolymère, en présence ou en l'absence de d) catalyseurs, e) agents gonflants et f) adjuvants. L'invention concerne également les prépolymères isocyanate appropriés à ce procédé.
