Nanostructured materials and processes for the preparation of these nanostructured materials in high phase purities using cavitation is disclosed. The method preferably comprises mixing a metal containing solution with a precipitating agent and passing the mixture into a cavitation chamber. The chamber consists of a first element to produce cavitation bubbles, and a second element that creates a pressure zone sufficient to collapse the bubbles. The process is useful for the preparation of catalysts and materials for piezoelectrics and superconductors.

L'invention concerne des matériaux nanostructurés et des procédés de préparation par cavitation de ces matériaux nanostructurés présentant une pureté en phase élevée. Ce procédé consiste de préférence à mélanger une solution contenant un métal avec un agent précipitant, puis à faire passer ce mélange dans une enceinte de cavitation. Cette enceinte est constituée d'un premier élément permettant de produire des bulles de cavitation, et d'un second élément qui produit une zone de pression suffisante pour provoquer l'affaissement des bulles. Ce procédé est utile pour la préparation de catalyseurs et de matériaux destinés à des dispositifs piézo-électriques et supraconducteurs.
