ABSTRACT A method of preparing dry-laid fibrous products com- prising the steps of defibrating cellulose pulp to form a stream of gas containing suspended cellulose fibres, dis- tributing said fibres over the surface of a gas permeable forming surface to form a fibrous layer thereon and intro- ducing a binder into said fibrous layer by supplying the binder to the cellulose pulp or to the stream of gas con- taining suspended fibres.
