Polypeptides are prepared in a cell-free translation system on ribosomes, where the system contains template RNA, ATP, GTP and amino acids as substrates, with the formation of translation products including the end polypeptide, AMP, GDP, pyrophosphate and inorganic phosphate, which are removed from the translation system while substrates are being spent, and ATP, GTP and amino acids are simultaneously introduced into the system to maintain their initial concentrations. During the translation process, a translation system on ribosomes is used which includes template RNA and substrates in the form of ATP, GTP and amino acids, immobilized on microcapsules whose envelope represents polyelectrolyte complexes.
