Disclosed is a method of preventing, inhibiting, and/or ameliorating cell death and/or tissue necrosis in live tissue containing neural thread proteins (NTP) by contacting the live tissue with at least an antibody, antibody fragment or antibody derivative that recognizes or binds to NTP, where the antibody, antibody fragment or antibody derivative is present in an amount effective to prevent, inhibit, reduce, control and/or ameliorate cell death and/or tissue necrosis. The method is capable of treating conditions requiring prevention, inhibition, reduction, control and/or amelioration of cell death and/or tissue necrosis caused by the presence of NTP.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de prévenir, d'inhiber et/ou de remédier à la mort cellulaire et/ou à la nécrose tissulaire dans des tissus vivants contenant des protéines filamenteuses nerveuses (NTP), par mise en contact du tissu vivant avec au moins un anticorps, un fragment d'anticorps ou un dérivé d'anticorps reconnaissant ou se fixant sur la NTP. L'anticorps, le fragment d'anticorps ou le dérivé d'anticorps est présent dans une quantité efficace pour prévenir, inhiber, réduire, réguler et/ou remédier à la mort cellulaire et/ou à la nécrose tissulaire. Ce procédé permet de traiter des états requérant de prévenir, inhiber, réduire, réguler et/ou de remédier à la mort cellulaire et/ou à la nécrose tissulaire dues à la présence de NTP.
