A method of producing a fluid from an earth formation comprising a first fluid zone (21), a second fluid zone (23) extending at a horizontal distance from the first fluid zone and a barrier zone (25) located between said fluid zones, is provided. The fluid is produced through a production wellbore (31) having a fluid inlet located in the first fluid zone. The method comprises creating an inclined wellbore section (39) being part of an auxiliairy wellbore (35) formed in said earth formation, the inclined wellbore section extending through the first fluid zone, the barrier zone and the second fluid zone so as to provide fluid communication between said fluid zones, closing the auxiliary wellbore at a selected location so as to prevent flow of fluid from said fluid zones through the auxiliary wellbore to the earth surface, and producing fluid flowing from the second fluid zone via the inclined wellbore section into the first fluid zone and through the production wellbore.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de production d'un fluide provenant d'une formation terrestre qui comprend une première zone de fluide (21), une seconde zone de fluide (23) s'étendant à une certaine distance horizontale de la première zone de fluide, et une zone barrière (25) située entre ces deux zones de fluide. Le fluide est produit dans un puits de forage de production (31) comportant une admission de fluide située dans la première zone de fluide. Le procédé consiste à créer une section inclinée (39) dans un puits de forage auxiliaire (35) formée dans cette formation, cette section inclinée s'étendant dans la première zone de fluide, la zone barrière et la seconde zone de fluide de façon à produire une communication fluidique entre ces zones, à fermer le puits de forage auxiliaire à un endroit sélectionné de façon à empêcher le fluide provenant de ces zones de fluide de traverser le puits de forage auxiliaire et de s'écouler jusqu'à la surface de la terre, et à produire un fluide s'écoulant depuis la seconde zone de fluide s'écoulant depuis la seconde zone de fluide dans la première zone de fluide, en passant par la section inclinée du puits, et traversant le puits de forage de production.
