A method of producing a gaseous, hydrogen peroxide-containing sterilisation fluid displaying good, uniform sterilisation properties, by vaporisation of liqueform hydrogen peroxide which is injected intermittently in finely-divided form into an air current serving as vaporisation agent which is kept at a constant or but insignificantly varying elevated vaporisation temperature. The even vaporisation temperature of the air current is ensured in that the air, prior to the vaporisation, is heated by heat exchange with a heating element (11) of large mass (thermal capacity) and large heat exchange surface area which is kept at the de- sired elevated temperature by regulated energy supply to the heating element and which, during breaks in vaporisation between the intermittent injection of the liqueform hydrogen peroxide, is heated with the aid of heat stored in the heating element.
Divulgation d'une méthode de production d'un fluide gazeux de stérilisation contenant du peroxyde d'hydrogène qui affiche de bonnes propriétés uniformes de stérilisation par vaporisation de peroxyde d'hydrogène liquide qui est injecté par intermittence sous une forme finement divisée dans un courant d'air servant d'agent de vaporisation et maintenu à une température de vaporisation élevée constante ou variant de façon non significative. La température de vaporisation uniforme du courant d'air est assurée grâce au chauffage de l'air avant la vaporisation par échange de chaleur avec un élément chauffant (11) de masse importante (capacité thermique) et d'une grande superficie d'échange de chaleur qui est maintenu à la température élevée souhaitée par l'apport d'énergie régulé à l'élément chauffant et qui, pendant les pauses dans la vaporisation entre les injections intermittentes de peroxyde d'hydrogène liquiforme, est chauffé à l'aide de la chaleur entreposée dans l'élément chauffant.
