A method of producing a patterned and/or apertured nonwoven material wherein a web of continuous filaments (11) are formed on a forming member (12), the continuous filaments being free from each other without any thermal or adhesive bonds therebetween, and applying a wetformed fiber dispersion containing natural fibers and/or synthetic or regenerated staple fibers (13) on top of said synthetic filaments. The web is hydroentangled, from the side on which the natural fibers and/or staple fibers (13) are applied, in two subsequent hydroentangling stations (16; 18) and is between said hydroentangling stations transferred from a first hydroentangling wire (12) having a mesh value of at least 20 mesh/cm, to a second hydroentangling wire (17), having a mesh value of no more than 15 mesh/cm. A nonwoven material is obtained having one side with predominantly continuous filaments and one side with predominantly natural fibers and/or synthetic staple fibers, wherein the material on the side with predominantly natural fibers and/or synthetic staple fibers (13) has a three-dimensionally patterned structure and that natural fibers and/or synthetic staple fibers are penetrating into the layer of continuous filaments (11) and are protruding through the layer of continuous filament.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire un matériau non-tissé à motifs et/ou à ouvertures. Ce procédé consiste à former une bande de filaments continus (11) sur un élément de formage (12), les filaments continus étant indépendants les uns des autres, sans aucune liaison thermique ou adhésive entre eux, et à appliquer une dispersion fibreuse formée par voie humide, contenant des fibres naturelles et/ou des fibres discontinues synthétiques ou régénérées, au-dessus desdits filaments synthétiques. La bande est soumise à un enchevêtrement par jet d'eau, à partir du côté sur lequel les fibres naturelles et/ou les fibres discontinues (13) sont appliquées, dans deux stations d'enchevêtrement par jet d'eau (16; 18) consécutives, et, entre ces dernières, transférées d'une première toile sans fin d'enchevêtrement par jet d'eau (12) d'au moins 20 mailles/cm à une deuxième toile sans fin d'enchevêtrement par jet d'eau (17) présentant une valeur inférieure à 15 mailles/cm. Ce procédé permet d'obtenir un matériau non-tissé qui présente un côté comportant essentiellement des filaments continus et un côté comportant essentiellement des fibres naturelles et/ou des fibres discontinues synthétiques. Le matériau, sur le côté comportant essentiellement des fibres naturelles et/ou des fibres discontinues synthétiques (13), présente une structure à motifs tridimensionnels et ces fibres naturelles et/ou ces fibres discontinues synthétiques pénètrent dans la couche de filaments continus (11) et font saillie à travers cette dernière.
