A method of producing a post card. A first step involves providing a digital camera having a printer port, a printer, and rectangular post card blanks comprising photographic paper bonded to a front face of a mounting card having a back face on which a message may be written. A second step involves taking a photograph using the digital camera, the photograph capturing an image of a tourist posing at a tourist destination. A third step involves connecting the printer port on the digital camera directly to the printer and printing the image onto one of the post card blanks for use by the tourist, while the tourist waits.
